We now have a good supply of Laserboard for all you scratch builders, model makers and doll house builders. This resin impregnated heavy paper is the right choice for making dimensional scale lumber.
You've heard about it, read about it, tried to buy it and can't find it anywhere in quantities less than a pallet full or big bucks for a small piece! Now, available from the only factory authorized dealer for this material exclusive to the hobby market.
Are you a scratch model maker? Enjoy making all the buildings on your layout? Or do you kit bash the plastic pre-made models you have by adding on? Have you used wood or cardboard and have had to cut it to scale sizes only to have it warp or break? Use this new product to produce windows, doors, walls, shingles and dimensional lumber.
This product is a resin impregnated paper. Takes stain and paint extremely well. Resists humidity and warping. Use your favorite white glue or carpenters glue. Contains no formaldahyde. Laser cuts with no fuzzy edges. Excellent backing for your ultra thin wood veneers. Cuts easily with scissors or razor knife.
We can supply you with standard 12" x 12" sheets or can custom cut them to any size you need to fit your laser table.
.011" (0.279 mm) Brown
.015" (0.381 mm) Ivory

This is the same stock that the kit builders use to laser cut their windows & doors for HO and N scale buildings. It is also used for wall materials after being laser scribed which simulates wood siding, concrete blocks and bricks. This resin impregnated paper has been mill rolled to precise thickness, so what you buy today will be the same size when you need more next month or next year. It has a hard smooth surface on one side and is sanded on the back side.
This material glues up well with stardard white or carpenters glue. Contains no formaldahyde. This material can be painted with both solvent based and acrylic based paints. Some model supliers recommend that you prime it with spray can gray automotive primer if you are using solvent based paints, but I have not found that necessary.
Ask about our custom laser cutting service too! Give us a cut list for your dimensional lumber and we can cut it to your specifications. You supply the AutoCAD files and we cut your parts with a quick turn around time at competitive prices.
